Leaky Links

Leaky Links

Just found and made good use of Link Extractor. This SEO tool lets you get a list of all the links in a web page.

The links are listed in two categories, External links and Internal links.

The link text and the line where the link is in your pages html code are showed.

It also shows the number of links in the page.

I love this little page, many thanks to Webestools for making it…

Help SOMEBODY Talk to Me!

Help SOMEBODY Talk to Me!

Is anyone out there?

So I think I’m going crazy, I really think I am,
I’ve only got two comments, which I think in truth are spam.

Now this is one and thirty, I’m blogging like the man,
I’ve had some likes I’m thankful, no comments, they clicked and ran.

Now I’m not antisocial, I’m on Facebook, I Tweet and Digg,
OK I mess with Google Plus, but that don’t make me a dirty pig?

So all I ask, please hear my plea, is a comment online returned to me,
A small well done or take a hike, a FU buddy or on your bike.

I could take my solace in one fat line,
A comment would show I don’t waste my time.

Customizing Your Facebook Cover Photo

Customizing Your Facebook Cover Photo

Facebook’s new cover photo allows you to express yourselve with a much larger space.
Willow4U’s New Cover Photo On http://www.facebook.com/willow4u

You can hate it, or love it, but there’s no way of getting around it theses days. Me I haven’t made up my mind yet, but I work with it all the same.

If you have a Facebook page like we do (ours is called Willow Health Treatment) and are trying, with it’s help to drive people to you website, it can’t hurt to let people know what you do.  Now Facebook has come up with a good idea (again) and that is to give you a large space to show what you’ve got.

The release of Facebook’s timeline profile came with an area known as the Facebook Cover Photo right at the top. Your profile picture is now a little smaller and rests in the lower left corner of the cover picture. Facebook’s new cover picture allows individuals like us, to express themselves in a much larger space.

Most people just add another photo. However, if your creative and looking for a unique way to express yourselves. Customizing Facebook’s cover photo is a great way of doing it.

Below are the dimensions of the cover picture layout.

From Facebook FAQ Page:
What are the dimensions for my Page’s cover photo?
Cover photos are 851 pixels wide and 315 pixels tall. If you upload an image that’s smaller than these dimensions, it will get stretched to this larger size. The image you upload must be at least 399 pixels wide.

To get the best quality image and fastest load times for your Page, upload an sRGB JPG file that’s 851 pixels wide, 315 pixels tall and less than 100 kilobytes.”

You may also like to take a look at:
“Customize Facebook’s Cover Picture – Dimensions & Template” Written by Dave Demuth
http://www.evaddesign.com where you can download a very good Photoshop Template and much better Dimensions.

He writes:
Cover Picture area
Width: 851px
Height: 315px
(*note: There is a 1px border around the outside but that will not affect the size of the final image)

Profile Picture Thumbnail
For those of you that are designers and know CSS, the profile picture is positioned absolute. Not that it’s that important, but just saying. It sits 23px from the left and 92px up in the cover picture.

Width: 160px
Height: 160px
Border: 4px white (#ffffff)
Border-radius: 2px
Padding: 1px all around

So if your on Facebook this is me I’m Cool Man2 let’s be friends.

Note To Me: Stop Begging!

That’s it for now. This may help to make the net a much nicer place…
