The OG:Description Tag
OG = Open Graph a tagging protocol (OGP)
OG:Description Tag Display Limit on Facebook
Facebook displays a 300 characters description, so you have plenty of room for your description, keywords, etc.
OG:Description Tag Display Limit on LinkedIn
LinkedIn also pulls the OG tags and the displays 225 characters or else it will be truncated.
OG:Description Tag Display Limit on Google Plus
Google+ also pulls the OG tags, and is the smallest description display of only 200 characters, but it’s still enough to ensure a keyword rich description if you optimize it.
